@toklaham-veruzia Thanks for reading Candle and I’m glad you enjoyed it! I considered entering it, but the word limit for the contest is 5k and Candle is over 9k, so I’d have to cut out basically half the story. I didn’t think I could make that work very well.

The reason I had people call her “the evil woman” all the time was that they were too afraid of her to say her name; it was a way of avoiding her. But I can see how that would get annoying and a more specific title might work better. Thanks!
