Content Tags: MC wonders if his mother will still love him; mention of the plague killing people (not graphic at all); MC was wounded by knife in the war (not graphic)

Critique Wanted:

• Does it transition too quickly at my comment? (Can’t go into details about exactly which part here… spoilers. :P)
• What one word would you use to describe this piece?
• Any other feedback is welcome too!! 🙂
