DUDE, YOU HAD ME AT “CENTRAL-ASIAN INSPIRED FANTASY” AND THEN IT GOT BETTER. :O :O :O I would 100% LOVE to look over it when it’s done.

And I’d definitely appreciate the feedback on my story. I think I’ll look it over once on my own and then I’ll copy it to a Google Doc and share it. 🙂

I mean… I wouldn’t say I run for the hills… but two years ago I decided to write a short story each week for my blog, which was fine and manageable, but then I got cocky (and broke) and decided to write short stories as Christmas presents for everyone in my family (I decided this in, like, September at the earliest) and I burned out and now I have those bad emotions sort of tied to short stories and I generally avoid them now unless I have a clear starting point and I really feel like it. Short stories with deadlines are generally the worst kind for me, at this point. (Which is why I’m so glad to have one already written, lol.)
