Not that I had in mind when writing the piece; it was originally just intended as a one-off focusing on a couple the characters I imagined would be a big player in the world’s setting. I had intended for Harn to be a conqueror in the vein of Napoleon, albeit with the initial motive of “seize power to put a stop at injustice” with a look at what happens when gradually that motive decays. Lerse would be Britain, that while smaller than Harn’s empire is nevertheless one of the major powers. Roland would function as Harn’s champion and devotee, as well as the handler for one of the Great Dragons (in this case the weather controlling fighter jet one).

Though now that you mentioned it, what part were you curious about?
