Cars line up along the road as you wait in the traffic, glancing at your watch. Running late. As if you could afford to get to work late as well as deal with your chaotic kids, and be expected to solve the mystery of your dog’s death.

Finally, the traffic begins moving and you release the brake, slowly rolling forwards with the flow. Definitely going to be late. You bite your lip, remembering back to the contract you signed only months ago when you joined the biome:

“Some biomes have developed based on what they read in books, shaping the contemporary culture. People who are not quite elite enough often end up here, turning it more dangerous. Mostly, the inhabitants are content to live peacefully but sometimes will go on an adventure into the depths of Parimi Alca.”
