You steal around the back of the castle, glancing around briefly before tapping on the dilapidated wooden door in front of you. Soundlessly, it swings open. Casting your gaze about one more time over the laughing townsfolk and the loitering children, you duck into the darkness.

As you fumble the door closed behind you, a lantern is lit in the center of the room, sending shadows dancing along the walls.

“Welcome, traveler, to the biome of Fantasy. Here is the biome in which we can band together and delve into a world of magic, quests, legends, prophecies, and battles.” A woman steps out of the darkness with a smile and holds up a dusty book with the symbol of a candle on the front. She flicks it open to a page covered with beautiful, delicate drawings and extends it to you to read:

“…Some have formed their biomes in an area that resonates with magic from the Past Era. Quests can be found on every corner and people travel from afar to be schooled in magic…”

“Welcome.”
