@duskflower I 100% agree and relate! I’m revising the fourth draft of my dystopian right now, and it feels like pulling teeth, but I’m middling along. Sometimes it helps me to have a backup project once I get to the stage that I’m several drafts in to a story. So like right now I’m editing on my dystopia, but if things are too crazy and I just don’t have the mental capacity to really polish it, I’ve got a first draft fantasy I can work on instead, and still be productive.

@kjames0813 yes! Give it a try! Way to go getting the first chapter done. I really struggle with beginnings. Ah yes, the age old struggle of plotter and pantser. I’m a hybrid. I plot out what I feel is necessary and then just free write the rest of it.
