Can I jump in? I don’t mean to intrude, but who knows? Perhaps I do…the human mind is preposterously fickle. I apologize for my philosopher-like rant. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Kaprissa Alex Knight, a psychology professor in one of Michaela’s partially-written stories (oh, how I hate it when she leaves me in suspense like that!). Moving on from my beef with my author, perhaps you would like to know more about me. I grew up wandering the streets, straying far from my orphanage, learning from books I collected that were left by strangers and live jazz music I overheard from the outside of high-class restaurants. Today, I work for an underground organization that prevents alien invasions before the press hears a peep about them – until a more recent invasion, which is puzzling even the most incandescent minds on the planet – even mine, not to brag.
