Marnin let his eyes flicker up slowly, he was in control of the situation and they knew it, whether or not they wanted to admit it. Leaning on his cane, he met the twin’s eyes with an uninterested, yet dangerous flicker in his eyes.

“You wanted to kill him, but I’m still interested, so I released him. It was easy. You are intriguing as well. Such hatred burning in your eyes. Are you going to attack me?”

He swiveled his gaze slightly, watching the others run off. Idiots. Snapping his fingers he brought them back to the meadow. He blinked, the world constricting around them.
