Good idea

Marnin limped a few paces away, looking around the strange paradise-like gardens. Gwyneth hopped up to his side, grinning eagerly.

“It’s time we left,” Marnin sighed, placing a hand fondly on Gwyneth’s head. “You’ve been through so much, Miss Finley, and we appreciate all that you’ve done. You don’t have to fight, but I am interested in your reaction. Everyone has their unique reaction. What will you do, Eden? We just met, but I’m afraid this is goodbye, on several different levels for everyone. You see I’m not well known by these people over the hill, not as myself, so I will receive an entirely different reaction, much the same to yours. To be honest, I’m tired of this game. So many of these reactions are the same. I wonder if they will change any?”

Marnin faced the others, with a knowing smile, snapping his fingers. Suddenly, they were all standing amidst a group of people. All the people dropped into the room, ones he had taken advantage of. People were the same, no matter where they came from. He leaned heavily on his cane, as Gwyneth bounced around excitedly, clapping her hands.

“That was cool! How did that happen? I’m so dizzy! This is fun!”

“I’m glad everyone could make it,” Marnin smiled.
