Marnin helped Finley sit down, he shook his head as he pushed himself back to his feet. Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath. If only there was some way to escape for them. They needed to find the others to ward off Sandman.

“Daddy, I’m hungry,” Gwyneth complained, swing her her feet off the edge of the rock she was sitting on. “Are there places to eat here?”

“I don’t know,” Marnin said thoughtfully. “I’m sure we can find one here. But we should wait until Finley is ready to move again. The shock took a lot out of her.”

“I can help her,” the man from earlier…Eden maybe…or something like…Ant. Though it probably wasn’t the latter.

Marnin nodded, “Alright, thank you.”

“Uh guys,” David pointed towards the city. “Is it just me or did all of that just disappear?”

Before the group could respond, the world spun around them and they were suddenly standing on green grass. Next to them were the others from their earlier group. David staggered, dizzy from the spin.

Sandman flicked his fingers, watching everything fold together except for the island. Just gathering the pawns to their places. He was tired of watching. It was time to play.
