These are great ideas!!! *brings in more pizza, dessert, and additional seating*
@theinconceivable1
Hearty thanks for your praise of my speech, though to be honest I didn’t realize I’d made a speech…*pauses in thought for a moment* I must be a natural! XD
Anyways, I love your idea for our origins as well as the roleplay and how we could use that to form our legends and for writing prompts! Have you seen yet that Jane Maree is having Daeus add another subforum for characters?@ashira
I always envisioned there being a central guild hall and smaller, separate guild houses surrounding the central building, but I think I like @jane-maree‘s mental picture better. So…maybe there could be separate branches/extensions of the main building that are kind-of offset from the main gathering area yet are still connected? (If that made no sense, that’s totally fine. XD)
As for the poetry portal, maybe we could have wooden cathedral doors covered in ivy and framed by a stone archway with the phrase Soli Deo Gloria carved above the doorway…
@dakota, do you have any ideas for the portal?@jillifish
I kind of like your idea about there being a direct connection to the meerkats, but I kind of share @theinconceivable1‘s sentiment about being half-meerkat. Soo…what if there were little meerkats who lived in the courtyard who understand all the technical aspects of literature but couldn’t do anything about stopping the literature villain because they’re…well, meerkats. Instead, the meerkats team up with human agents to complement the agents’ strengths and help the agents complete their missions? For example, as a poetry agent I struggle with achieving consistent meter, so my meerkat Soliloquy Ampersand Meerkat (or Sam for short) could point out lines of poetry where the sounds clash with the rest of the poem. The meerkats could even be somewhat opposite to their owner/partner so that we can practice writing in another POV.@jane-maree
That’s SO COOL!!! *jumps around excitedly* I can’t wait to see it! When do you think it’ll be ready?
