@jenwriter17 One thoroughbred – brown.  And beautiful! 😉 One paint – mostly white, some brown and black.

As for riding them…well, unfortunately they haven’t been ridden in two years, so, we’ll have to retrain them.  We have scheduled with a trainer to come over and give us a few pointers.  Once we do have them retrained, we’ll be riding Western.

I have a sidesaddle, though. 😛 I have no idea how to sit on it, but I do own one.  It was a Christmas present.  I’ll eventually learn to use it once we get the horses retrained.

@theresa-play I’m afraid Bobert as a character is gone for now. He may show up in a book or story of mine sometime, though.  If he does, I’ll be sure to let you know! 😉

Well, we just moved onto a 50-acre place, so I guess that’s a pretty reasonable size space for horses. 😛  We’ve definitely wanted them for a long time, so we were really excited when we found out we were moving here with plenty of space.
