Kaede started laughing after a moment of silence. This little dagger twirling girl was absolutely adorable, in the cute, childish version. So, he really didn’t have any impulse control, and she was looking angrier by the moment. This however only spurred more laughter. Oh! He wasn’t expecting to be entertained! He was one of the eldest of the Shanan Tribe left, definitely the most powerful. And this child was threatening him! To think!

“Such entertainment I was not expecting when I was suddenly dropped here,” he spread his hands.

Smiling he stepped closer to the girl, ignoring the dagger. “Freeze,” he said softly, his voice carrying a deeper undertone to it. Everyone there was suddenly unable to move, just like he had expected. Bending down beside the girl so that his voice wisped past her ear he spoke again, the undertone staying. “Raise the knife, blade up,” he instructed, watching coldly as she was forced to do what he spoke. “Now place it against your chest, press a little harder, though not enough to break skin.” He stood turning and examining her. Really, every time they looked so panicked, their eyes playing out every emotion. Turning around he waved a hand. “I release you all,” the undertone floated away.

“Now wasn’t that fun?” he said normally, spinning around to face them all. “On to more important subjects. Where exactly are we? What is 1950?”
