That sounds like a good idea. To combine several of y’all’s ideas, do you think it would work to start with someone dying (which the villain/hero thinks is their fault), keep going with whatever story happens, and conclude with someone else dying (which is not morbid like the first death, but which is instead a joyful event, and makes the villain/hero realize what death is and what their role has been)?
