@kay  I really like your idea….what if he was the sort of person who grew up in the world we live in today where it’s kind of accepted that nice people don’t ever “judge” you know tell people the truth about themselves. And I know you have to be careful about that, speak it in love and all, but let’s say this person makes his mission in life to always go around telling people what he considers to be the truth about themselves with no flattery or deference, regardless of the indidvidual’s position. What if whenever he saw someone doing something harmful to himself he always steps in and intervenes with awkward consequences and paint it from the perspective of making him seem like the unkind, mean, bully, jerk fellow who’s always crashing the party, and he knows it, and revels in it….considering himself everybody’s worst nightmare. Until, it turns out that telling people the truth about themselves has actually helped them, and spurred them on to become better people. He realizes that for several people, he’s become their hero….

I’m just thinking out loud here and we could hash it out more, of course, but what do you all think?
