“You fool!” The David shouted. The arrogant child had imterferred as he was about to kill the most dangerous person of all.

The one who could end him.

Then a vision from nearby suddenly flashed before him. The girl with wings was being taken by helicopter.

“No!” he growled before glaring back at the monster and his frustrating new bodyguard.

“Die together for all I care!” he shouted, then lashed out, sending chains into the many surrounding buildings. He pulled, sending the buldings crumbling together down toward the two helpless targets in the street.

Then The David disappeared before he could witness the outcome of his work. He had to find the girl. The boy would give the key, he just knew it, which meant this girl was all he needed.

Karra slept peacefully. It was like being truly dead, a blessing shehad never been allowed to have in her long yet short life.

But then a sudden sensation of unnease swept over here. A sense of wrongness.

A name came to her, and she spoke with no voice.

The David teleported into sight of the girl. And just as he started toward her, a man showed up, then soon began tearing awat at her wings.

“NO!” The David cried for the hundredth time, launching chains forward.

He speared the man through.

“Are you alright?” he cried, suddenly afraid, as he ran toward the girl.
