“Please, don’t…” Daniel shook, his voice barely above a whisper. He knew better, but he couldn’t help himself. Wincing, he prepared for the blow. Probably a kick. He closed his eyes, hoping it wouldn’t break any bones.

Gonna bring in a new character. Hehe, I think I’ll plop him in the area where Aria and Damian are. 

Meet Ben Sandez. He is 5′ tall and 13 years old. He has light brown almost blond hair that is long but doesn’t go past his ears. His eyes are a light brown but are more yellow and almost green in places near the pupil. He has a lot of freckles, especially on his cheeks and over his nose. He wears a red t-shirt with his favorite band logo “Wild Child” written across it, jeans, and worn out tennis shoes. He will have big black headphones with a red plate on each earpiece and a wire running down to a phone-like device. These will most likely be around his neck.

He was one of the most out of place figures in the park. This all felt weird but like cool at the same time. He would totally have to tell Riley when he got back home. He sat on the park bench, swinging his legs and watching all these people going on about their business. They all looked like they belonged and all. Ben guessed he would probably have to find some super crazy genius scientist like in the movies, and they would devise this plan to get him back. What would make it even more awesome was if the Government discovered he was here and wanted to do like crazy experiments on a person from another world and he had to evade them as well.

Ben stared hard at this girl who was walking with a dude. Whoa, she had cool talons. He’d noticed that his Gift wasn’t working after that weirdly cool lady had zapped him here. Oh, and people here didn’t seem to have powers. He definitely needed to meet this girl.

“Hey Miss, cool talon, kinda secretive looking and possibly otherworldly girl lady,” Ben hopped up beside her like they had known each other their whole lives. “I’m thinking we like share some similar things like…this isn’t our world and I was wondering if you wanted to join forces and all. So the first thing that would be cool to know is how you got here. I met this crazy weirdly cool lady guy with a really tall old fashioned hat and she gave me this lollipop,” he held up the mentioned candy, still in a wrapper. “Which now that I think about it I might remember something about my mom saying not to take candy from strangers because strangers usually want to kidnap or kill you. Which is kinda true because I’m in this other world. You can have this if you want, I don’t like cherry.” He offered her the lollipop. “But my dad always said “don’t refuse free food” so I was all sure I’ll take it and then all of a sudden I was in this other world and I can’t use my Gift. It’s probably because this world has that really really bright yellow thing in the sky instead of the Ektos Spiral. But I’m saying we should totally join forces since you have those talon thingys. Is that your Gift? Are they sharp? Can I see them again?” He looked up at her, big brown eyes wide.
