Calla stared at Eiri, forcing the memories back down. There wasn’t time for that. Eero looked at her, and she knew that he knew. How could he not? He was from her world, and her story was well known there. Eero nodded to her, and turned, bending over Eiri and murmuring the words to a lullaby while he bandaged her wounds.
