May I just say…from the bottom of my heart…

HOW COULD YOU DO THAT YOU EVIL WRITER YOU *SOBS IN A CORNER* HOW COULD YOU EVER KILL A TWIN???????????????????????????????????? THAT’S TABOO. FORBIDDEN. KORRRRRRRR *FACEPLANTS INTO THE DIRT UNTIL ITS A MUD PUDDLE* THE FEELS THE AGONY THE PAINNNNNNNNN!!!!! *LISTENS TO SAD MUSIC AND WALLOWS IN MY GRIEF* *WRITES FANFIC WHERE HE LIVES AND GETS MARRIED, HAS KIDS, AND LIVES UNTIL A RIPE OLD AGE* WHAT HAPPENED NEVER HAPPENED!!!!

Kor opened his eyes. Confused, he searches through his memories trying to figure out what happened. Vague images of a redhead and a little girl and…Eiri! Desperately he searched for the bond he and his twin had shared, but all he could find were cold, severed ends. Panicked, he bolted up, surveying his surroundings with a few quick turns of his head. It seemed to be some sort of cottage. Pain jabbed in his chest, forcing him to lay down again.

“There, there,” an aged voice whispered to him. “You shouldn’t be moving. Here, drink this.”

“What…?” Kor felt the urge to wrinkle his nose at the foul smelling bowl an old woman thrust into his face. “Who are you?” He asked, hoping to distract her from giving him whatever the contents were.

“Me?” The old woman shook her head. “I’m Ezi, of the Herb Clan. You are safe here, young man. We are a safe distance from the Metal Clans.”

“The who?” Kor felt his head spin. Was it the odor rising up from the bowl or the agony lacing through his chest.

“Those who stabbed you are from the Metal Clan,” the old woman said softly.

She tilted the bowl. Kor grimaced as a thick liquid was forced down his throat. Surprisingly it wasn’t as foul as it’s smell. A relief really. A door slammed, and despite the previous reproach from his body at attempting to rise, Kor pushed himself up on one elbow. A slim girl, about his age, with flowers braided into her hair, skipped across the room. Setting a basket of something that smelled incredibly delicious, she tip-toed over to the bed.

“Is he awake?” The girl asked, peering cautiously at him.

“Yes, child,” the old woman tapped her cane. “Don’t ask obvious questions.”

“Sorry, grandmother.” the girl cast the old woman an apologetic smile. “Hello,” she beamed at Kor. “I’m Miria, what’s your name?”

“He shouldn’t be talking,” the old woman scolded.

“Kor,” he replied, before wincing. Maybe he should have taken the old woman’s advice, but it seemed polite to answer the girl. “Where…where’s Eiri?” he ground his teeth to keep from moaning.

“Eiri?” Miria tilted her head. “Who’s she?”

“My…my twin…I…can’t feel…her,” Kor relinquished his upright position, sinking back onto the soft pillow.

“Don’t worry, I’m sure we will find her, just focus on getting better,” Miria tucked the blanket around his shoulders. “I’ll have some soup ready soon. It’s bound to better than what grandmother just served you.”

She tapped his head, then skipped off to make dinner. Kor lay there, staring up at the thatched roof. Yes, that was for certain. He would find Eirivia. No matter what it took.

So I just transported Kor to my world into the country of Isri which is a Southern Kingdom so he will be as close to home as possible. He goes on to search for his sibling and perhaps one day find her. In the process he saves the Herb Clan from the Bronze Clan and marries Miria. Their ship name is Koria or Mirzon. They have as many kids as they could ever want and live happy lives together till the ends of their days.

Scarlet stared in shock. Running over with Lex on his back he knelt by Kor, grabbing his hand and searching for the wound as the light went out. Only moonlight remained. “No, you can’t do this,” Scarlet said, glancing at Lex, who he had set down. “You can’t die!” Blood coated his fingers and hands. Desperate, Scarlet placed a sheet of ice across the wound, trying to contain the blood. Saints, the blood. It was everywhere.

    “Protect… Eiri… Lex…”

“No! You can protect them once your healed!” Scarlet nearly shouted at him. Even the darkness could hide the stilling of Kor’s body, the emptiness of his eyes. “No, no, no,” Scarlet groaned. “You can’t die, you can’t leave your sister. Not like this. Not so young.” Flashes of Rudi’s body, stretched out like Kor, skimmed through his mind. A single tear ran down his face, following the curve of his nose, before falling to his chin. Reaching up he closed the young man’s eyes.

“What do I do?” he asked no one, yet some one. “Do I bury him here, or take him to his sister. I’d do it, even if it killed me.”

The night sky, lite with moonlight and starlight, suddenly changed. A meteor shower streamed through the darkness, bright points of light falling earthward. Scarlet found himself watching, numbed by everything that had taken place. “Even the sky weeps for him,” he murmured. He retrieved Kor’s sword, closing the boy’s still warm hands around the hilt. “May you find a place beyond the stars,” Scarlet pronounced a Dreg blessing for the dead. “And walk were darkness cannot come.”

‘Eirivia?” Matz asked, tilting his head as he looked down at her. “What happened?” His hair fell into his eyes as be bent down beside her.

“Lila Jonathans,” She thought about a handshake, but decided against it. “Who are you?”

Lila vaguely listened to the girl’s reply, hearing something. At the scream, she jumped into the trees, a band of silver flashing into the air before a bo staff dropped into her hand. Whatever these things were they looked like bad news and it didn’t seem like there was a way to communicate with them. Oh well, she liked using her fists better. Running along the branches, she swing her staff, dropping lightly onto one’s head before swinging to the next. Hitting the skin to see how tough these things were, she vaulted up into the trees again.
