I’m sure you could tweak it to make it into a poem!

Something like…

They told me global warming

Is taking o’er the world,

But I suppose they’ve never been

To New England in the cold.

Or if you want to keep January in there…

They told me global warming,

Is changing weather from ordinary,

But I suppose they’ve never been

To New England in early January.

 

Anyways, just a couple ideas there. 😉
