“Mm,” the Immortal tilted her head as Eiri fell through. “Too quickly solved,” she noted after the girl was rescued. “You should really be more creative…like…this.” the Immortal snapped her finger.

A heavy North wind suddenly gusted, throwing the snow into the air as it came barreling down towards them. Snow rose from the ground into the air, clogging the view. The mountains faded away in the flurry of white. The gusts dropped the temperatures even further around the small group.

Matz looked up wondering what force had set it’s will against them. Probably those people from earlier. Perhaps he should start rethinking the supernatural. His eyes widened as Eirivia fell in, only to be retrieved by a person he didn’t know the name of. Digging in his coat pockets at the call for fire, he dug out a bundle of matches. “I do not see where these can be of much use seeing as we have no means of keeping a fire alive. However I heard that humans make excellent sources of heat and you may use my body after you kill me if you wish. Seeing as I am least likely to contribute much to this establishment you would ultimately choose me. Also if you are in need of sustenance and the eagle cannot find any more food you are free to use me. I give my whole hearted permission. This raises your survival rate to a solid 10%.”
