Scarlet pushed himself up, a tortured look in his blue eyes. “I…I can help,” he rose to his feet. “Who’s hurt? I’m not really a doctor, but I can patch it until real medical help arrives.”

“I judge our survival to be less than 10% and falling by the minute,” Matz noted, glad that he had his coat. “The falling of the snow seems to be quicker than before and with the sun setting and the falling temperatures we will all freeze before sunrise even if we reach the mountains. I do not mind dying tonight and freezing will be one of the more easier ways to leave this world. This of course is without the use of the raw resources we have here. If Eirivia can set herself on fire that would help the chances, however if there is an effect there must be a cost. Is the fire you hold unquenchable or must certain standards be met? If the former than our chances go up by .09% and remain the same if it is the latter.”

The Immortal crossed her arms, as if weighing her opinion. “I do like them stranded. However if you really wanted to make things fun, Scarlet should have been in the winter setting. He hates the cold.”
