    Goodmornight, y’everyone. ‘Tis I, David.

We are unique. And (hopefully) our stories are too. There are so many different things, big and little, that come from us and go into our precious books. Believe it or not, those various quirks and tidbits can also be endlessly fascinating.

So that’s what I want to talk about. What are some unique things about you and/or your story(-ies)? What loopholes did you accidentally find–and perhaps exploit–in your world? What makes you enjoy that one character so much? What silly, strange, or helpful things do you do while/before/after writing?

I’ll start this off. My quirk comes from my world, and it’s really quite simple. I am both amused and sometimes annoyed by the fact that I will let no one say the word “Yeah”. Ever. Period. No “Yeah”s to be seen anywhere. It’s helpful in distinguishing the world and time, but it’s also an over-used crutch taken away, as I find myself trying to use it way more than I would’ve guessed.

So yes. There you have it. Now have at it.
