Do you guys find that the YA books sometimes (mostly) have bad content in them, or is it just me? Even though I’m 14 and some people say that the Children’s section is to young for me, I find they usually have good content and better plot lines. Like, YA books just throw a swear word or an inappropriate scene to make it “better” and more age “appropriate”.

Some books in the YA section are still good, so don’t think I’m saying that they’re all bad, but about half of the ones I pick up I don’t read because of some sort of mature content. Is it just me?
