Activity

I find it helpful to picture what I want, and what certain characters want, and how far they will go to get said Want. Like, for instance, I have a villain, a King, and I imagine him wanting his rule to continue on, but he doesn’t think his sons are ‘evil’ enough for him, so he makes a deal with another guy so the guy will become King after he dies, and I fit it into my story plotline as a sub plot that alters the regular plot. I find it fills in the gaps a bit, and grows my characters, too.
