@steward-of-the-pen I would be soooooooooo grateful for feedback. I have a few people who have the MS or have given feedback, but the only useful feedback I’ve received has been on here, and everyone else has been weeks reading my wee little thing. Other authors I know are talking about how they have to carefully prune their betas from dozens of readers or they’ll get overwhelmed and I’m just sitting here internally screaming. I know I can’t expect people to care, but seriously.

Thanks for the reading suggestion! I feel like I’ve heard of Brandes’ stuff before, but I’m not familiar.

How many steps do you take in a week? Not to brag too much, but my job involves scurrying around all day and gives me ~20K steps a day. I know a lot of people do more than that, but I’m proud when I hit my step goals =P

Speaking of goals, what issues are you having with your protagonist’s voice? I’ve not stuck to my goals at all. I need to get out of this funk and find writing fun again.
