@ashira: *pumps his fist* you did it *grins* that made my day 1% better! : D
@samantha-pen: “First off I’m pretty sure my Dad is an INTJ. I know three different ISTJ’s at very different stages of life and he’s like none of them.” ok cool! Ya, I know only one ISTJ my age and we’re fairly different… Was just checking to see if you did your homework XD! “Sorry, but they can really drive me nuts sometimes. ” XD J’s drive you nuts? well P’s drive me nuts! Its funny how that works isnt it… I find I connect with J’s much better then P’s though, granted, P’s can be for fun to be around XD Out of ciriosity what gets on your nerves about J’s? For me, The fact that P’s are spontaneous and lack organization can be pretty frustrating! (or really fun, as long as I don’t live with them… which I do *wispers* (all my family are P’s! Actually their all FP’s which is even worse!) XD hehe, ya don’t get offended you guys are great! : D)
“I have actually found I have a really hard time just living with the fact that I don’t like someone especially if everyone else in my family likes them” hum, interesting… Do you feel friends are more of necessity for you? I find I have to step out of my comfort zone to make friends but I was wondering if, for you, its vise versa? Also, do you place alot of your identity in your friends? I’ve been wondering if certain personality types (like ESFP’s) are more prone to base how they define themselves by whos around them and what those people think of them… whats your thoughts?
“ESFP’s though are kind of hard for me to swallow.” hehe, same! their actually the exact opposite of my personality type so I find we don’t have much in common. However, I went on a 10 day adventure camp recently and I made it my goal to hear everyone’s life story (yes, I know socializing with everyone isnt a very INTJ like thing to do but it was surprisingly informative and helpful for both the people I talked too and myself. Honestly, the fact that I was able to be social that whole camp is what I consider a miracle in and of itself. XD) Anyway, I ment this ESFP and, while were sleeping out under the stars we got to talking about his life story and he really opened up. He said it was his first time to ever talk about stuff like this (and inwardly I’m like “HOW!?! YOUR 17 ALREADY!) but it apparently made quite the difference in his life! (and where still friends despite our major differences) So, my theory is that, should you break through the shalow, live in the moment-ness of SP types and get to a deep conversation, it matters much more and effects them much more then a deep conversation with any other type will (and thus is worth the work ; D) anyway, thats my rant on ESFP’s XD.
“I love seeing how personality types work out across gender.” me too! (though I will confess, I do struggle with you females in general… you kinda annoy, disgust, and intrigue me simultaneously XD That said, I don’t talk to meny girls *coughs* (except on SE XD)) ” They can be a good influence for me to just let go and have fun sometimes. Though I can’t believe I let myself be convinced to go apple dunking in our kitchen sink this fall!!!” Are you sure we can classify this as a good influence XD also, I think thats another between you and me. I’m not easly swayed by peer pressure *crosses his arms definitely* (I don’t cair how much you call me a chicken, I’M NOT BRIDGE JUMPING! XD)
“INFJ’s are awesome I only know two but they are sweet they have that ever appealing N function and they are just all around great” INFJ natural have the one thing I naturaly lack… people skills XD (but hey, they arnt as good at chess so I think that equals out XD) “How can you not know NT’s???” ok, I know two ENTJ’s (one thats my grandpa and one thats my 15 year old friend.) both of them are great but I’ve just found I dont come across NT’s much… Isnt it weird I’ve never meet a difinitive INTP in real life? from what I hear their extreamly smart! (*sniffles* smarter then me…) but they arnt very good or have much of a cair for proving their smart.
“They are cool most of the time and I love that they do their research before they come to conclusions.” hehe, hehe, he… nope. Tecnicaly, we have Introverted Intuition as our dominant function and Extrvarted Thinking as our auxiliary. So, at least in my experience, I’ll usually form a theory and then go out to prove it right. But ya, I won’t share or endorse a theory without proof (or at least without stating this theory has no proof XD) so if thats what you mean by “they do their research before they come to conclusions” then ya. But, at least inside my head, I come to alot of conclustions and argue them against each other to see which wins. (or I’ll argue them out loud with other people! Thats fun too! : D) “They are awesome visionaries ” ok, thanks, I’ll accept that!
“I do read on them some but I think knowing the personality types is the best way to form an accurate opinion” Ya, I think thats a good position to hold : D. Ya, I do need a substantial amount of alone time to survive this crazy world XD!
