@ashira: “plus I have little fear of having to console you if you get emotional” at least that much is true XD! ok lets compare shall we:
Dominant function of ENFJ:
Personalities with this function in their dominant position tends to focus on creating harmony in the environment around them. Users with this function in their dominant and auxiliary position are concerned with the beliefs and values around them; taking into account social norms, cultural values and the effects of the decisions they make all into consideration. Often these people are very selfless, putting others needs before their own, yet when they find harmony around them, they find harmony within themselves. If a Extraverted Feeler is healthy, they will use generosity, love and empathy to create the harmony they desire but if a Extraverted Feeler is unhealthy they may resort to manipulation and deceit to create an apparent harmony. Because their decisions are influenced so heavily by the welfare of those around them Extraverted Feelers are known for neglecting their own needs. These types are very aware of what behavior is appropriate for each situation and try their hardest to make people feel comfortable in their presence. These types are known to take on the emotional ‘baggage’ of others and may uses self-deprecating humor to make another feel less embarrassed. They will also be on of the first to speak up if the harmony around them has been disturbed; and one of the first to stand up for others. These individuals are always asking what they should and shouldn’t do and often find answers to this question by asking those they trust.
Dominant function of ENTJ:
Personalities with this function in their dominant position tends to focus on categorising, evaluating and comprehending things outside the individual. People with this trait seek to structure the outer world and put everything in its place using logic and fixed rules. People with this trait tend to form laws and rules that explain how things act and relate, take for example the laws of physics, and enjoy being able to prove their logic is sound. Then they to try and create clear and broad systems that can apply to as many situations as applicable. Individuals with this function in their dominant or auxiliary function are excellent planners, being able to account for many future possibilities, even ones that have a low chance of actually occurring. They tend to make things ‘black and white’ and dislike what many call ‘gray areas’. They also do not like mulling over topics for long periods of time and tend to be more impatient, wanting to see the answers as soon as possible. Because they are so decisive paradoxes and ambiguity highly frustrate them. They also really enjoy task completion, to them the best part of any challenge, is the end. Extraverted thinkers often are found making laws and rules they impose upon others; laws they deem to be universal. These individuals are extremely concerned with fairness and justice and believe highly in equality. However, due to their universal law making tendencies these types can often seem bossy and judgmental as they are able to see errors and flaws in any system quite clearly and are quick to point them out. Extraverted thinking users, especially those with it in their dominant function, often make decisions too quickly and can miss the facts. However, these types are usually logical, fair and honest; valuing a good work ethic and loyalty quite highly.
I’ll leave it up to you to deside which one you think fits XD (*wispers* its the ENTJ!)
