I am 100% willing to accept any help you can give me, and I really hope you’ve enjoy reading it.

I totally agree with you about female soldiery.  I’ve written many female characters in action stories before, with lots of fighting and killing.  In fact, one of my other female characters was in a military situation too, but circumstances had kinda pushed her into it.  This was the first time I’d ever written a female soldier who had simply made the decision to join up, without much real need to, and I want to make sure I don’t make it sound like an ideal situation.

But I totally agree, and thank you very much for pointing that out.  We need to be so careful with how we portray things like that.
