@bella-d Hello Bella, My name is Michelle, as you already know. Your book on your profile sounds so good great story idea:) I like your profile pic!! it’s so pretty, she’s …I’m thinking she’s a queen lol. How long have you been on Story Embers? I’m sort of new You could say, I joined in October. Do you want to be friends?

    • Hi @michelle-rose! I’m sorry it took so long to reply to you. Thank you! I’m glad you’re intrigued… that’s the point, I believe. 😉 My profile pic is actually one character from my story. Yes, I’m rather new myself… I’ve really only been here since July, and I have yet to get really involved, so you’re in good company and yes, I’d LOVE to be friends!!!

      • If she is one of the characters in your book you must draw!! I would love to learn more about your book:) So I’m no stranger to you lol. I’m 17 years old, I’m home schooled, I have 3 cats and a sister. I love reading, actually funny thing is I used to hate reading lol until I found a book I love and was excited to find out what happens next. like I say “Once you find the book you want to read the rest will be easy, you never know what doors reading could open for you.” I live in San Diego California, I love food and I’m a Christian girl.

    • REALLY? You and I have too much in common! I just turned eighteen, I’m also homeschooled, we have three cats, and I couldn’t live without books. Though I can’t ever say I hated reading… (and no, actually… a friend drew this for me.)

My book? Well, I love talking about my books! What do you want to know? 😉 (And the same for me… what are you currently working on?)

      And yes, I’m also a Christian 😉

      • That’s so cool we are like twins lol, I will be eighteen in August:) A fellow cat lover!! I would to know all about your story lol characters, plot, theme you know all that good stuff Only if you want to tell me. What am I working on.. lots of things!! lol Actually I finished my children’s book I’ve been working on, I’m a long way from publication though. I have so many other story ideas lol. Now for my second project, (oh boy)! lol. It is called Trovato it’s about a young kidnapped Tuscan soldier, he abandons his troop to go and find his father. There is so much more to the story it’s crazy, I’m still trying to figure it outXD I have the summary, I can send it to you if you want.

    • Aren’t we? XD Yes, I love cats!!! Our oldest one is Gracie, and she’s a mackerel tabby. Her two younger sisters, Debbie and Bonnie, have black and white tuxedo markings, but Bonnie has short hair and Debbie has long hair. I should show you pictures sometime!

Do you write historical fiction too? That’s pretty much all I ever write… at least, that’s where my passion lies. I have dabbled in contemporary fiction, but… *shrugs*

Hmm. Well, I’ve got to say, Gervaise is one of my favorite characters. He’s got a lot of baggage from his childhood, which ‘burn like shadows in his past’. 😛 His village was raided by Danes when he was less than six years old, killing the defenders who were led by his father, and later slaughtering all the villagers, including his mother. The queen, Eunorah, was able to rescue him as she fled and pretty much raised him alongside her seven year old daughter, princess Cassia. Since he was of noble blood and the king and queen had no son, he’s the #1 candidate for rulership after King Ethelwine, which really irks Sir Nicholas, the second in command. I’m about to go waaayyy overboard and tell you about the villian’s motivations…

      Anyway, it’s something I’m excited about. 😉

      • Your book sounds incredible!! and your cats are so cute, I’m not to good with describing my stories I’m working on it;) I can send you the summary, what is the best way I can send it on over to you.

    • Oh yeah, that works!
I’m sorry if I sound psycho about the kitties, but… I’m sure you understand 😉
Why, thank you! I love being told how brilliant I am. It makes me feel so… unique, and special, and whatnot. 😛

      • Kittens and cats are awesome!! away with the people that don’t like them lol. Oh do you now:P lol. Do you have Pinterest or Instagram Bella?

    • No, actually. I’m not much of a social media person, I’m afraid. Do you?
And yes, Gracie has kittens around twice each year, and it’s just too much fun giving the babies away. It’s super fun naming them and watching them run around the garage while impersonating their voices, too, so yeah…

      • I do but I use it only for story ideas, I have a big favor to ask you. Can you help me with my story? I need some more people to read over things:)

    • Hey! Long time no reply! But of course I’ll try to help… What’s on your mind?

    • Ooh, sorry… I actually don’t have a Google account and it took me to a sign in. Is there some way you can get a signed in link for me?
