Hello!! As Eden said, I haven’t met you yet. I’m Bama Rose.

I don’t know tons about crafting villains, but I do know what kind of villain just gets on my nerves because he’s so cliche.

My favourite “bad guy” is Loki from The Avengers. What I liked about him was, well, number one, he wasn’t very cliche (in my opinion). Number two, he was an interesting, funny character who you actually like and feel sorry for. At least I did. 😋

One thing I hate about villains is when he finally has the hero at his disposal, and right before he plans to kill him, he reveals his whole plan and then it backfires and all that. That stuff always bugs me.

I like what @daeus-lamb said about imagining yourself as a villain. I can see how that would work, how if you let yourself, you could become the villain because of something you believe… I’m not sure how to word that.
