@the-fledgling-artist That’s such a fun present! I have to admit that I still struggle with gouache myself, but there are many tutorials on youtube! That best thing you can do is use them like watercolors but go from thin to thick paint like you would do with acrylic. Also gouache always dries darker compared to what the colour looks like when it is wet. My main problem with gouache is that it immidiately lifts from the paper when applying water or paint on it. But this is ofcourse only a problem when you don’t work from layers with lots of water to layers with less water. I tend to forget that sometimes haha.

You might already know all of this though. The best thing you can do is experiment. Can’t wait to see what you create with it! (:
