Thank you for this! It’s always good to see where someone who doesn’t generally read my writing gets lost (as with all my characters being described as human, even when being called unicorns and stuff. My personal opinion is that anything not human is not capable of being a fully articulated character. With this particular story, unicorn and fae are limited shapeshifters.).

The short story format is limiting, but I do have 2,000 words before I hit the limit. I’m going to add in a lot of the details from worldbuilding to help clear up the confusion about the races, and other stuff.
