Darcen is a name that is close to Darcy. So I wanted to use the name Darcy because of its feel… but didn’t want people to think of Pride and Prejudice when reading a tragic dream opera. So I took the root sounds of the name, and changed the ending to make it fit my profile… but without losing the feel.
