Yes. I loved all the amazing character arcs that are so hard to find nowadays(especially in TV shows) in ATLA, so I’m really, really hoping that The Dragon Prince will be just as good. The best sign that we might get those character arcs so far in The Dragon Prince I think is the fact that it’s mostly plot-based, just like ATLA. A lot of cartoons these days are just strung together episodes with no connections between them unless they’re a part 1 and part 2. That’s one reason why I don’t like Race To The Edge very much–there’s not really an over-arching plot or theme. Sure, there’s somewhat of a plot, but there’s no real precise goal like “defeat the Firelord” in ATLA or “return the egg” in The Dragon Prince. If there was a main plot line, I think Race To The Edge would be much better.
