The episodes aren’t bad, by any means, but to me they’re nothing compared to the movies in either animation of story, really. Also, I don’t watch American TV animated TV shows very often, as I prefer Japanese anime over American TV unless it’s something like Voltron or Avatar: The Last Airbender.

And Dagur is cool…. but I almost wish he’d stayed dead. He went out well, I thought. That episode is actually in my top five favorites in the show, because of his death. I liked him, but he really went out well.

And then, of course, being a TV show, he’s brought back to life. XD

Lotr and The Hobbit music is EPIC. Despite the fact I’m still mad about the whole Kili–Tauriel love triangle…. thing, I still actually really like the movies. They’re not perfect, by any means, but in my opinion they’re still great compared to the movie adaptations of The Black Cauldron and Eragon and other books. Plus…. the animation in The Hobbit is just gorgeous. I could fangirl over just the animation all day. XD
