By the way, I get that the ideas of NaNoWriMo and word wars work wonders for motivating certain writers to action, but I have to admit that I’m not one of them (maybe my genre of choice doesn’t help with that. I don’t know).

Anyway, I just wanted to offer some encouragement to my fellow Rillumenites who may not be looking so great in the word count department. I’ve read 2 line poems that have moved me more deeply than “The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner” and I’ve read novels that barely beat 100 or 200 pages that have stayed with me longer and more vividly than 500+ page novels.

A story’s a story, no matter how small.
