“Uhhh, well…it’s been about three years, I guess. I found him one day when I was shopping at the grocery store. My mom was, as usual, taking forever to buy her groceries and so I wandered off in my boredom, going nowhere in particular, just hoping to distract myself for a little while. Not surprisingly, I soon found myself standing in the candy aisle. I saw him then as I passed the chocolate shelf, his little pink nose peeking out between some boxes. I bent down for a better look. He sat amidst a growing pile of shiny Kisses candy wrappers and clasped in his paws was a half-eaten Hershy Kiss. His cute little face was covered with chocolate. I couldn’t help but laugh. When he heard me, terror lept into his eyes and at first I thought he would run away. But he didn’t, he just sat and stared at me, his big dark eyes inquisitive. For a long moment we gazed at eachother and then to my complete surprise and shock, he waddled over to the edge of the shelf and handed to me what was left of the Kiss. And he smiled.

I knew then, that we were friends. So I picked him up and put in my pocket and we’ve been together ever since.”
