Wow your list is so detailed. 🙂 Hmm…good questions. I needed an excuse to flesh my characters a bit more. But I’m going to stay on topic right now and just focus on the characters in my current story. Hopefully that will help motivate me to finish said story.

Most likely to get punched in the face? That would be Inspector Oliver Hoffmann. He’s very rough around the edges, and despite the fact that he has manners he finds he can solve murder mysteries quicker if he doesn’t act so polite. Now it’s just second nature to him. He’s abrupt, rude, cunning, and just a little manipulating.
Due to his difficult upbringing, ability to adapt, and various skills, Inspector Hoffmann would do fairly well surviving a zombie apocalypse. Then despite his attitude of disliking and not trusting anyone, he would probably save as many people as he could, train them, and end up leading some sort of ragtag group. He would be the leader that is stern and commanding but loved by almost everyone because of how he would go out of his way to keep them all safe. And in doing so, he’d likely get himself killed off doing something spitefully heroic.

Beatrix Jennings would be most likely to say “oops” after setting something on fire. Then she would probably panic trying to put it out. Beatrix is very competent, at least until she is given an assignment where she feels she has no idea what she is doing. Due to her lack of training, this happens more often then she is willing to admit.

Gerald Hoffmann is mostly to dance in the rain. Being the younger brother he had more freedom growing up than Oliver did, and he has the mindset of a optimist that is nearly always smiling, even around his cranky brother. That being said, he is a responsible adult as well, which is good because he is married and has a son. Gerald would not survive a zombie apocalypse, but this doesn’t stop him from being one of my favorites. 🙂

Molly Moran is most likely to flee responsibilities by running away to the circus. At this time it’s just her and her very worn out mother, and she is feeling the pressure to provide for them on a very small paycheck. Due to painful circumstances her mother is unable to cope and help Molly deal with any of this. Molly wants to just escape it all, but she won’t allow herself to abandon her mother.

Helena Jefferies is most likely to sleep through anything. She works a very draining shift as a nurse, and can barely keep her eyes open when she finally gets home. Helena is very hard working, and one of the most moral characters in the story.

Lydia Hoffmann would, and probably has cheated on a few tests. She feels a lot of pressure from her parents to marry well, and be a Lady of society. She wouldn’t commit what she sees as a “major sin” but she is perfectly willing to commit smaller ones. Such as lying in order to keep up appearances, which is why she hates Oliver because he always seems to know when she is lying. He also resents her because he doesn’t think she is good enough for his brother.

Oliver would be happy to haunt his friends in a sort of benign but annoying fashion. The “I love you, but I’m still going to tease you by scaring you” sort of way. Beatrix would haunt her friends because she worriedly, would want to look in on them. But she would also be afraid of moving on and being lonely. Much as Helena loves her friends, she would be content to pass on because of her strong faith, knowing she is going to be with her Lord. As would Gerald because he would trust his older to take care of his family even if Oliver doesn’t like them. Molly would haunt places rather than people, she’d be too afraid of frightening her mother to death and yet too afraid to move on. So basically, aside from Gerald and Helena, everyone would be most likely of haunting everyone else. 🙂
