I like to think that I cover a lot of genres with my poetry. I’ve written somewhat of a mythical or fantasy poem about an old Swedish woman who controls the weather with her mood swings, an everyday life poem about a family going through a divorce through the eyes of a child, and a historical fiction poem about Napoleon Bonaparte from his perspective. My latest one is a mix of fantasy horror and real life, putting a Frankenstein’s monster kind of character in an amusement park.
