@theinconceivable1 I really like what @wordsmith said regarding the tassels, about how they have to do with the representation of priestly authority and that being fulfilled.

That being said, I’ll go back to my earlier statement about how we can use all the commandments of the OT in our search for how to love God and each other better.  I think we could take from the verses regarding how to dress during worship that we should dress respectfully during worship of God (or in this instance, at least that the leaders of worship should do so).  Of course, that is mentioned in the NT as well, but you can see what I’m getting at, can’t you?  Some of the OT laws don’t need to be followed literally and strictly anymore, for a multitude of reasons, but we can use them as guidelines for what God finds acceptable and respectful.  I’m sure there are better answers given by more qualified people than I, but that’s the best I can do right now.
