@warrenluther04 Something I do is find a theme song for my story- one that matches the tone and theme of the idea.

I also try to figure out the basic themes in my story early on (like “coming of age” or “falling in love” not a too in depth moral of the story) so I have an idea of where I need to get it to go.

I also tend to jump right in to the middle of the story. I hardly ever write the beginning first.
