Hello everyone!

For some fun (and hilarious) poetry practice, I’ve decided to start a never-ending poem with you. Feel free to add a stanza or two whenever you feel like it.

The Never-Ending Poem

The poem began a little like this:

A long time ago there were words on a page. 

Many a poet attempted to join.

There are so many words; who has time to gauge? 

The poem was wordy (but so were the poets)

and every new stanza made my headache stronger.

A tree sheds its leaves when the weather gets colder

but new seasons only make poets speak longer.

I can’t wait to see what you all add! To get things started, I’m tagging @libby, @evelyn, @h-jones, since I’ve talked to you in other forms before and know you frequent in the poetry section. Anyone’s free to add as many stanzas as they like, however.
