Currently, I’m working on a novel set in a futuristic/present day world with dinosaurs. It’s rather tech focused and has, well, teenagers as main characters. Let me find my blurb:

 

Long ago, the Wall closed in the city of Azendrya.

No one went in, and no one went out.

Now, the Wall has fallen.

And the dinosaurs have come.

 

Flame lives in a world where dinosaurs roam rampant around his city of skyscrapers, free to go wherever they wish.

When he comes home to find his mother missing, he is given a mission to deliver a letter to a woman named Thistle, someone he has never heard of.

Left alone in the hostile city, he is forced to depend on a girl and her ragtag group of friends for assistance.

Loyalty has lived all her life in an orphanage wanting to be free. Everyone she meets hates her. But when a strangely irksome boy kidnaps her, Loyalty finds her chance to escape. Problem is, she has no idea how to live out there alone in the city.

With no one to turn to, Loyalty must figure out a way to survive… even if it means making a few friends.

But time is ticking.

Forces neither Flame or Loyalty have heard of are at work.

And Azendrya is about to fall.

It doesn’t encompass the whole of my story very well, but it does do its job so until I can find a better way to introduce the premise, I’m using that one. 🙂
