I never thought I’d write fantasy.

But somehow, that’s what most of what I’m writing ends up as. I’m currently in the middle of the third book in a series, where each book is set in a different time in the same world. The current story is about a guy who joins the ruling power, gets assigned to find and capture enemies, and then finds out he’s on the wrong side. I’m more of an improviser than a plotter, though, so I have no idea where this book is going. 😉

If you want to read some of what I’ve written before, here is the first chapter of the one I like. And if you want to tell me what might be wrong, this is one I wrote for school, but it doesn’t feel right. My guess is the problem is with characterization, but I am not sure.
