Oh wow cool, there’s a question if I’d ever seen one.  Thanks for asking, @missfaeriekaiti

The answer is YES.

First off, I wanted writers who I thought were taking writing seriously.  Even if they don’t want it to be a profession or anything, they wanted to do it well and were willing to put the effort into it.

Second, I wanted people who were willing to critique.  Critiques are a bit of a passion of mine and I want Rillumen to become a vibrant critiquing community.  I believe that critiquing both teaches writing faster than any other method, but also that it binds a community close together because it requires time and effort.

Third, I wanted people who identified “Setting/description” as an area they needed to improve, because we’re all going to learn together.

Finally, I was looking for different people.  We’ve got age range from 12 to 25, Sci-fi, Historical fiction, mystery, and contemporary writers here.  Beginners and advanced writers.  I’m hoping everyone will seek to learn from everyone else so that we can become good at everything, not just good at one thing.
