I like the idea of describing a monumental event. I think we already did a guild war submission about a funeral, so maybe a different event?

I think a tough thing could be coming up with “creative, original prose.” I know we all try to write with it, and I know there many unique character voices who are from the same situations, in the same age range (like YA teen, young adult voices), but maybe we could be wacky and go further 😀 So a few ideas for that:

-a character from one time period stuck in another

-POV from someone who’s not a teen (*wink*)

-POV from an inanimate object (how would a mirror or a car view a man getting ready for his daughter’s wedding?)

-omniscient POV from something even more unusual, like an overarching moral or a character like Death in The Book Thief
