And actually…if you’re interested, I have a group of people that are reading Beautiful Murder as I write the first draft, you can totally join it if you want. 🙂 I am super excited about this one, as Beauty & the Beast is pretty much my favorite fairy tale ever. (I already wrote one retelling, then there’s this one, and I’ve had an idea for another one for like three years, though I’m not sure if I’m ever going to write that one.) And if you want to read The Shadows Never Lie, it’s on Wattpad. My username is Lejah18. 😀

@evelyn I really like Julia’s idea for the plot! I’m not saying that’s totally what you should go with, but it would give you at least a basic starting point you could develop more on your own. As far as titles go, the first thing that popped into my head was “Uncle Fred is Dead.” I don’t think you really want to use that for your title lol but it is an idea. For coming with titles more generally, I just think about what the book is about in a large sense and try to take something from there. So for Beautiful Murder, it’s a retelling of Beauty & the Beast, so I knew I wanted to include some form of the word “beauty” in the title. And then one of the MCs  is cursed to murder people, so the phrase Beautiful Murder just kind of came naturally into my head.
