Thank you very much for the awesome edit! I’ve added some things to my “watch out for as I write and self edit” list. I’ve still got to work on that show not tell, but I’ve learned some new ways to spot it now!

@fctait I noticed you suggested ‘asked’ instead of ‘queried’. Is the latter to…old? I frequently use queried so I’m not ‘ask, ask, ask’ and I was wondering if it’s ‘outdated’. Thanks!
